LUCA BARBAROSSA
Luca Barbarossa is an Italian singer-songwriter, born in Rome on April 15, 1961.
Noticed by Gianni Ravera, Luca Barbarossa participated in the Castrocaro Festival in 1980, won the festival with the song "It will be the age" and secured his first recording contract.
He participates in the Sanremo Festival in the following years:
In 1981 with "Roma stripped" he finished fourth.
In 1987 with the song "Come nella un film".
In 1988 he brought the song "L'amore rubato", a song about sexual violence, ranking third.
In 1992 he presents the song "Take me to dance", dedicated to his mother. The song wins the festival.
From 2010 he began to present the program “Radio 2 Social Club” on Rai Radio 2, which airs on the weekend.
