"LA VELA ILLUMINATA"

"La Vela Illuminata" is a traveling film festival held in the squares of the most evocative and scenic locations in the province of Rimini.

Admission is free and screenings start at 9.15pm. Each of the evenings will be opened by a short animated short film from the Cartoon Club festival, followed by a screening of the film.

In the event of rain and bad weather, where possible, we will move inside.


This year the review is organized by ACLI Provinciali Rimini aps, also thanks to the contribution of the municipalities of Gemmano, Saludecio, Poggio Torriana, Coriano and San Clemente and the support of the Emilia Romagna Region and the Emilia Romagna Film Commission.


For the 2023 edition the remaining program includes:
- "Petit maman" by Céline Sciamma; Monday 21 August at the Malatesta Castle (Coriano)
- "First man" by Damien Chazelle; Tuesday 22 August at the Malatesta Castle (Coriano)

Another equally interesting initiative is that of “Tiberio CinePicnic”, five evenings (from 11 to 15 August) in which to have a picnic while enjoying a good film in the spectacular setting of Rimini's XXV Aprile Park.

Furthermore, in case you want to support the initiative, a refreshment point organized by the Società de Borg is also available from 7 pm, where you can buy everything you need for your picnic.
