The House of Paper is a Spanish series created by Alex Pina with the original title "La casa de papel".
In Italy it was aired by Netflix on 20 December 2017 and was immediately one of the most clicked TV series since its release!
Thanks to the ample amount of doses of twists, action and intrigue, the viewer remains as if bewitched and in addition to the suspense the most logical thing to do is to 'rush' to the next episode!
The series gave vent to its originality almost obviously provoking great success, first in Spain, the place of its birth, then in the rest of Europe, in terms of ratings.
The original theme song on the youtube channel Atresmusica is also very popular.
The House of Paper tells an audience of all ages about a group of 9 robbers whose objective is a mega heist of the Spanish state mint located in Madrid, the Fabrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre.
The mastermind, or rather the one who takes credit for the conception of the 'ingenious' plan is a man called the 'Professor' within the series, and it is he who has selected the other 8 members of the gang; each of whom will be assigned the name of a city: Tokyo, Moscow, Denver, Berlin, Nairobi, Rio, Helsinki and Oslo.
The true identity of each member is strictly secret and moreover interpersonal and sentimental relationships are forbidden.
Tokyo is also the narrator who comments on all the events of the TV series.
