GIORNATA DELLA TERRA

World Earth Day was born on April 22, 1970.

It was established in the United States by Senator Gaylord Nelson who organized conferences and meetings on environmental issues, and managed to involve American politicians such as Robert Kennedy, environmentalists and scientists from around the world.
The aim of the initiative is to raise environmental awareness, encouraging the use of renewable sources, combating global warming and adopting a more sustainable lifestyle.

The event was broadcast on the internet and on various social channels with interviews and documentaries and supported by several television broadcasters and newspapers to make everyone feel, albeit distant, close.
