ELISA

Elisa Toffoli, known simply as Elisa, is an Italian singer-songwriter, musician and record producer who in the course of her career has also started projects as a video clip director, theater actress, photographer, writer and voice actress.

Born in Trieste and raised between Gorizia and Monfalcone, Elisa is one of the few Italian singer-songwriters to write almost all of her lyrics in English; she also sang in Spanish, French, Slovenian and Kurdish, as well as in Italian.
The success in the recording field came at the age of 19 with the debut album "Pipes & Flowers", but the notoriety to the general public reached the age of 23 thanks to the victorious participation in the 2001 Sanremo Festival with the song "Luce (sunsets in the north East)".
With her husband Andrea Rigonat, also a member of the band, she has two children: Emma Cecile, born on 22 October 2009, and Sebastian, born on 20 May 2013.



In over twenty years of career, after the release of eleven studio albums, six compilations, two live almbuns, four video albums, seventy-three singles and as many music videos, he has sold over 5.5 million records certified by M&D and FIMI, also enjoying success in Europe and North America.

In the Italian and international sales charts, he has reached the top ten with his albums ten times, conquering the first position four times, while as regards singles, he has reached the top-ten sixteen times, with six number ones, gaining overall a diamond disc, a multiplatinum disc, forty-four platinum discs and nine gold discs. In Italy you have obtained all the main prizes and awards in the music field: from the Targa Tenco to the Festivalbar and many others.
