In the heart of the Romagna Riviera, just steps from the sea of Rimini, there’s a place where sport meets tradition and community: the Tennis Club Viserba. Founded in 1968 by a group of tennis enthusiasts, the club has grown into a vibrant hub for hundreds of athletes, families, and young players.

With over 300 active members, it’s one of the most important tennis centers in the Rimini province.

Spread across 6,000+ m² of Romagna-style gardens, the club offers:

• 4 well-maintained clay courts

• 2 extra courts in nearby Rivabella

• A cozy club house with a bar and 50-seat restaurant

🎾 Tennis School & Competitive Training

The Tennis School is the heart of the club, welcoming kids from age 5 with age-specific classes led by FITP-certified instructors and professional athletic trainers.

For more serious players, the competitive sector offers structured training (October to July), focusing on:

• Technique

• Fitness

• Match tactics

• Mental coaching

All designed to prepare athletes for regional and national tournaments.

🏆 Competitions and Events

The club fields teams in Serie C and D, both men’s and women’s, plus junior and veterans’ categories. Each year it hosts top events such as:

• Memorial Sandrino Boschetti – National third-category tournament

• Emilia Romagna Junior Tour – For Under 10–14 players

• ITF W15 Rimini Cup – A prestigious international women’s event (prize pool: $15,000), returning 8–14 September 2025

Among the club's rising stars is Marta Lombardini, selected for the Italian university national team.

🔧 Looking Ahead: Padel and Facilities

Between 2021 and 2023, the club launched an ambitious redevelopment plan including:

• An expanded club house, new locker rooms and indoor gym

• Construction of 4 international-standard padel courts

• Eco-efficient infrastructure and a renovated restaurant

Recognized by the local government as a project of public interest, it received support for a €80,000 investment and management rights for the next five years.

Since 2023, the club is officially a FITP Federal Center for padel, hosting youth training and provincial championships.

Thanks to a partnership with Viserba’s hotel network, the Tennis & Padel Hotel project offers active holiday packages, combining training or tournaments with tailored services for athletes and guests.
