Meeting for Friendship Among Peoples – Rimini 2025
From August 22–27, 2025, the Rimini Expo Centre will host the 46th edition of the Meeting for Friendship Among Peoples – one of the world’s largest cultural festivals, promoting dialogue between different cultures, religions, and worldviews.
A Space for Encounter and Hope
Founded in 1980 and inspired by the Catholic movement Communion and Liberation, the Meeting brings together thinkers, artists, scientists, entrepreneurs, and volunteers in a week of free and open discussion.
The 2025 theme is: "In desert places, we will build with new bricks", a quote from T.S. Eliot. It expresses the desire to build meaning and hope even in uncertain or fragile times.
What to Expect
100+ talks and debates: on science, faith, politics, education, justice, and technology
15+ thematic exhibitions: focused on art, history, social figures, and spiritual experiences
Concerts and shows: music, theatre, film screenings and the “Meeting Music Contest”
Sports village: 13,000 m² of activities, tournaments, games and children’s workshops
